The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that all employees from various business categories that have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine are required to have a mandatory PCR test every 14 days.

The business categories that need to undergo the 14 day PCR test include hotels, restaurants, transport, health, social as well as individual activities relating to laundries, beauty salons and barbershops.

The new rule comes into effect from 28 March.

The Ministry also encourages all individuals that have not taken the vaccine to do so to ensure their safety.
