Notices To Be Placed On Homes Under Quarantine In Abu Dhabi

Authorities in Abu Dhabi have confirmed that notices will be placed at home entrances of people in self-quarantine. The signs will explain that an individual inside the residential unit is following a 14-day quarantine period as mandated by the government. Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre is undertaking the initiative to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to raise community awareness on the importance of social distancing. A tweet released by the Abu Dhabi Government Media Office said: “In order to protect public health, maintain adherence to precautionary measures, and encourage social responsibility, notices are to be placed at the entrances of all residential units where people are quarantining.” The announcement came as authorities in Abu Dhabi issued new regulations for international travellers arriving in the capital. Abu Dhabi Updates Countries On Green List

The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has updated its green list for passengers arriving from various countries. Passengers from the green list countries are exempt from mandatory quarantine on arrival at Abu Dhabi and only have to undergo the mandatory PCR test. The current list of countries around the world on the green list are Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Cuba, Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Japan, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan (ROC), Tajikistan, United Kingdom, and Uzbekistan.
