You can now shop to you drop as the list of malls that have reopened across Abu Dhabi gets longer and longer.
words Derek Issacs
You could almost hear the cries of parents’ delight on social media platforms last week as the announcement that age restrictions to under 12 year olds visiting mall had been lifted.
The good news continues as the list of malls reopening in all regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi increases.
According to a recent tweet by the Department of Economic Development, there are at least 21 malls now open in Abu Dhabi, seven in Al Ain and two in Al Dhafra region.
All the malls that are now open have implemented a series of health and safety measures outlined by the government.
Only those under the age of 70, including children under12, are allowed to enter malls in Abu Dhabi.
Previously, age restrictions prevented kids 12 and under and people over 60 from entering malls.
