The heat’s on in the kitchen

Waitrose Abu Dhabi

If you do decide to stay home this Eid, and many of us will do, then join the masses who during Lockdown were forced to discover new skills or hone old ones. While some flexed their muscles to become at-home gym bunnies, others donned their aprons and headed for the kitchen to practise their home-cooking fare on a captive audience. Meanwhile, the experts over at Waitrose were scouring the Web to find out what you were rustling up the most and came up with some rvealing kitchen trends, resulting in this nifty list of five lockdown food favourites and yes, banana bread and cheese scones do rear their tasty little heads in these fairly easy-to-do recipes.
