Abu Dhabi nurseries, childcare centres can now open

The UAE’s Ministry of Education and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority said precautionary and preventive measures will need to be in place.

It’s good news for nurseries and childcare centres in Abu Dhabi as the UAE’s Ministry of Education and the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has given the green light for them to reopen, as long as precautionary and preventive measures are in place.

All staff will need to undergo mandatory training will form part of guidelines, which include temperature tests and regular COVID-19 tests for employees, children being grouped by age in “bubbles” and all toys and games must be sterilised.

Parents need to provide meals for kids and businesses will be inspected regularly.
