Due to some airports and countries shutting their borders amid the new strain of the covid variant, tourists visas in the UAE have now been extended for an additional one month.
This decision was issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
There will not be any additional government fees for this extension.
This decision was made in light of tourists and families visiting their loved ones to spend New Year’s in the UAE.
Government entities will work to facilitate procedures for tourists over the coming period and collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all visitors during their stay in the UAE.
