Emirates Red Crescent has widened its Ramadan programmes for 2021 to address the health, economic and social repercussions of the ongoing pandemic.
The Ramadan programme will benefit over 1.2 million individuals in the UAE and 571,312 individuals in various countries.
The theme for the year is ‘Be The Change’ which aims to provide support to individuals living in the UAE as well as in countries around the world.
The programme will see the distribution of Ramadan meals to over 112 different locations as well as meals to workers, elderly people, frontline workers and individuals and families affected by the pandemic.
The programme will also distribute clothes as well as Zakat for Eid.
