The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has launched its first virtual charter school to provide students who have been affected by the pandemic with the opportunity to continue their education.
The first charter virtual school is in partnership with Horizon Private School.
The initiative will offer students a third education model based on a public-private partnership.
The online platform will initially offer the Ministry of Education curriculum.
Over 579 students of 15 nationalities have already enrolled.
