‘My Store Virtual Market for Productive Families’ will provide people of determination with the ability to achieve their development and economic productivity by circulating their products.
The initiative is in partnership with the General Women’s Union (GWU) and the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the GWU, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation.
People of determination will be able to integrate themselves into society by expanding the spread of their products and motivating them to contribute towards developmental and economic productivity.
The virtual market will include, the Mansour Salem Al-Nubi project called ‘Mandoos Al-Oud’ for the production of perfumes, the Wafa Faisal Al Hariz project, which provides handicrafts called ‘Al-Wafa Handicrafts’ and the Shireenet Abdullah Al-Hamli project, which works with decoupage.
With the help of partnerships including the Emirates Academy of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, programs and training courses will be offered for people of determination and their families.
The Department of Economic Development will additionally help in issuing commercial licenses through ‘Abu Dhabi Merchant’ under ‘Entrepreneurs of People of Determination’, which will help them achieve the business goals.
Abdullah Abdel-Ali Al-Humaidan, Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination said, “In the implementation of the leadership’s directives, the organization is not only continuing its mission to offer care, rehabilitation, and treatment services to its affiliated people of determination but is also striving to enhance their cognitive, social and interactive capacities and daily living skills.”
