Abu Dhabi Marathon Is Back

The third edition of the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon is back for the year and will be held on 26 November.

The event is organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council as well as the title sponsors of the event, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.

The 2021 marathon will be held after the 2020 marathon was pushed due to the pandemic.

To ensure the safety of all the athletes, individuals that are fully vaccinated will only be able to participate.

The marathon will offer a variety of distances including 2.5km, 5km and 10km.

The ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon training program will offer individuals free sessions and fitness plans to prepare them for the marathon.

The sessions will be held at Yas Marina Circuit and will be hosted by Youssef Rochdi, a member of the USA Track and Field Association and winner of multiple long-distance championships.

Individuals registered for the 2020 marathon will automatically be added to this year’s roster.

Registrations for the marathon are now open on the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon website with an early bird offer of 20% for individuals signing up in May.
